CARERS SUPPORT SERVICE
Providing a range of support to adult carers (aged 18 or over) in Croydon, based on individual carers need.
Help is available with practical issues ranging from assistance applying for benefits and grants to working on behalf of carers to secure services or support they may be entitled to.
The team also facilitates support groups to help carers find or stay in work as well as carers’ lunches and outings. Grants are available towards carers’ costs for transport, training, respite breaks and holidays (subject to availability and eligibility).
Staff offer confidential one-to-one support to help you identify your information and support needs. These meetings can take place at a time and at a location to suit you. Help is also available by e-mail, letter and phone.
We are available at a time and in a location to suit you. We are happy to undertake home visits out of normal office hours.
